4 Month Check-up

Whoa, it's crazy that Chase is already 4 months old! We went to the doctor today, and Chase was being so good there that it was a pity they had to go and ruin his mood with shots :( She said he could start eating rice cereal once a day now, though, and then gradually work his way to the veggies! Whoa!
His stats:

weight- 13 lbs 4 oz 50 percentile
length- 24.75 inches 50 percentile

just an average little guy; but then...

head circumference: 40.25 cm 10 percentile!! :)

It really was no surprise, but poor chase. I'd like to blame his little head on his Beazer genes, but I didn't really help him out either...At least he's got a cute little head :)
oh, and just to keep record, developmentally, Chase can:
grab things that are already in his lap, babble, laugh (soo cute! but it only happens right before bath time, for some reason), sit up with support, do the "superman", and though he's only done it one time before this, he actually rolled over while we were at his appointment! Little show-off :) It's so much fun to see him grow! We love this little guy!

This is Chase just hangin' out before bedtime. He usually goes down for the night at around 6:30 or 7:00, and then only wakes up twice at night to eat before getting up at 7am. Can't wait for the day he only wakes up once a night!!

Wow sounds like he's doing great. He'll be sleeping through the night before you know it! cute little guy! hopefully we meet him sometime!

It is so fun to see them grow. Don't worry about his head size Bridgers was in the bottom 1 percentile.

Love the glasses on him! Aren't you glad your kids have little heads though. It's so much better for bringing them into the world. He's perfectly proportioned in every way if you ask me. We just can't wait to see you all again at Thanksgiving. I'm so glad he's sleeping better for you.

I love it how when we get a baby into our lives, nothing else comes anywhere near as important. They become the center and the focus and nothing else matters. Loving the blog!!!! So happy for your little family.

Hopefully the small head thing doesn't last forever. Our girls have what I feel is a pair of pumpkins strapped to their shoulders which definitely is my fault. Either way though, big or small head, babies are cute, and we are glad to hear the Chase is doing well!

Him and Declan are total opposites when it comes to head circumference! ha ha. I'm with Shauna on this one though, you're lucky! He is so cute!
